I love the malty earthy taste of maca…I added maca powder with Inulin and seeds to some natural yoghurt (the Yeo Valley Greek one is my favourite).
Maca is great to take if you are perimenopausal or menopausal or even post menopausal.. what I am saying then it’s just great to take for men and women.

So it’s best to take in its powdered form.. add it to yogurt or make a milk alternative maca latte.
How to make a maca latte
Into a pan add:
1 1/2 cups of a milk of your choice (not bloody oat milk)
1 tablespoon of maca powder
1/2 teaspoon of ginger
1 1/2 teaspoons cocoa
Large pinch of cayenne
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
1 tsp of pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Large pinch of black pepper
Add Manuka honey if you prefer it sweeter
Whisk all ingredients in a pan over heat… once it is hot enough whisk vigorously for a frothy top.
